Local Development Center The opening of LDC (Local development Center) in Urgut region

The opening of LDC (Local development Center) in Urgut region of Samarkand oblast took place in October 22, 2011.

In order to realize the tasks, stipulated by the state program “The year of small business and private entrepreneurship” and to support needs of people, SABR initiated the establishment of the first in our oblast Local Center of Development (LCD) in Urgut region with the support of Social initiatives Support Fund (SISP) and UNDP (UN development program).

This Center will render the wide scale of social services: Vocational training for youth and women, microfinance support of low income but economically active layers of population, counseling support.
