The event presented the results of research by the WAGE program aimed at identifying obstacles to the development of women's entrepreneurship and developing recommendations for their elimination.
The organization's recommendations cover areas such as creating an enabling legal environment for women entrepreneurs and their financial opportunities, developing business and IT skills, and ending gender-based violence.
The WAGE program has been implemented in Uzbekistan since the beginning of 2022 in cooperation with the British University of Management and TashDUU.
Mavlyudakhon Shirinova, director of the National Center for Socio-Economic Development “SABR”, took part in the event with her ideas and proposals.
