Project "Inclusive Horizons: Learning and Entrepreneurship for All - Phase II" implemented by the NGOs of the NCSED «SABR», funded under by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Purpose: To create an environment for entrepreneurship, employment for women and youth with disabilities and the poor by providing vocational and social skills training, grants and microloans to improve their well-being and quality of life.
The main objectives of the project are:
- to increase the capacity of local NGOs, local government representatives, the local population, and CSOs;
- improving the professional skills of target groups to improve the socio-economic situation, raising awareness of gender equality, women's empowerment, human rights, and how to start their own business and make life-changing decisions.
Expected results
- 336 women and youth from disadvantaged and low-income families will receive 128-hour vocational courses and certificates.
- Conduct 28-hour trainings on community mobilization, entrepreneurship basics, marketing, legal and financial literacy, and credit management.
- Provide 250 face-to-face and hotline consultations by a lawyer and psychologist.
- Provide face-to-face, online, and telegram channel consultations by business consultants.
PROJECT RESULTS:
A total of 344 individuals (319 women and 25 men) from low-income families, including women and youth with disabilities, received certificates upon completing short-term vocational courses. Among them:
- Persons with disabilities: 169
- Family members of persons with disabilities: 113
- Low-income individuals: 62
- 28-hour training sessions were held on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, marketing, legal and financial literacy, and credit management.
- A total of 59 start-ups were awarded to graduates of the first cycle.

NCSED “SABR” by the organization disability was persons and less provided familliess support 11 people in order project graduates entrepreneurship activity start for necessary equipment with provided.
- With financial assistance of the Public Fund for the Support of Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 46 participants were provided with equipment to start their businesses during the first and second phases of the project.
- A total of 292 consultations were provided in person and via the helpline by legal-148 and psychological specialists-144.
