«SABR», in cooperation with the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment of Uzbekistan and local partners in Jizzakh («Qalb nuri») and Khorezm («Interbilim») regions.
Project Objectives:
Reducing unemployment by organizing Mobile Acceleration Courses (MAC) for vocational training in 20 remote mahallas of Bog’ot and Arnasoy districts, targeting women and youth.
Conducting masterclasses and «Training of Trainers» (ToT) programs for instructors and trainers of Local Development Centers and «Ishga Marhamat» monomarkaz training centers.
Holding the International Forum «New Uzbekistan: New Opportunities for Development and Social Partnership» to showcase Uzbekistan's economic and social reforms aimed at promoting women's entrepreneurship and achieving gender equality to the international community.
Achieved Results:
According to the project's action plan, 775 individuals were to be trained in each region, including 275 women and youth at Rural Information and Resource Centers and 500 participants in Mobile Acceleration Courses, making a total of 1, 550 beneficiaries.
In practice, the project exceeded its targets: in Arnasoy district (Jizzakh region) and Bog’ot district (Khorezm region), a total of 1,784 participants successfully completed vocational training and received certificates.
As part of the project, on January 24-25, 2024, the International Forum «New Uzbekistan: New Opportunities for Development and Social Partnership» was held in London, United Kingdom.
